R2 INFINITY

OMNIWORX HYBRID STEADICAM

The best of both worlds. Our custom built R2 Infinity sled integrates the Ronin 2's electronic stabilisation technology with the mechanical power of traditional steadycam systems. This powerful combination delivers 4 axis stabilised footage capable of seamless floor to ceiling camera operation.  Pan and tilt is controlled by the handle mounted thumb controller.  The sled's carbon fibre telescopic post can almost double in length allowing the camera to fly higher or lower and peek through or over obstacles. The quick release system enables the Ronin 2 to quickly be interchanged between other platforms like jibs or our tracking vehicle.

The kit is complimented by a RT Motion MK3.1 single motor wireless follow-focus and a Cinegears Ghost Eye 400m wireless video transmitter and receiver. Both the RT Motion and Cinegears Ghost Eye is capable of working at distances of up to 1km line of sight allowing for stress free focus pulling and monitoring in a variety of on-set situations.

We fly our rig even higher when adding the steadycam platform to the front of our Omniworx crane for seamless transitions from massive wide shots to in-your-face action.
